Logistics and distribution: Follow every step from warehouse to delivery on one screen.

We build warehouse management systems (WMS), fleet and route tracking, mobile field apps and operations dashboards for logistics and distribution companies. By integrating logistics software with your existing ERP and carrier setup, we make what is happening in the warehouse, on the road and at delivery visible in one place.

Industry challenges

Problems we often see in this industry

  1. No view of the field

When vehicle location and delivery status are checked by phone, the operations team is stuck chasing updates.

  2. Picking errors in the warehouse

Picking from paper lists raises the risk of wrong items and incomplete shipments, and returns cost money.

  3. Scattered proof of delivery

When signatures and photos stay on paper or personal phones, disputes take a long time to settle.

  4. Routes that rely on experience

Route planning based on personal knowledge uses vehicle capacity and driver time inefficiently.

  5. Disconnected systems

When ERP, WMS, carriers and customer systems run separately, the same data is entered several times.

Our solutions

What we build

  • Warehouse management system (WMS)

Warehouse software that runs receiving, putaway, picking, packing and shipping with barcodes and handheld terminals and tracks stock movement live.

  • Mobile field apps

Apps for drivers and field teams with task lists, delivery confirmation, photo and signature capture, working even when the connection drops.

  • Route and delivery tracking

Vehicle location, stop order and delivery status on a map, with delivery updates sent to customers automatically.

  • Operations dashboards

Management dashboards that bring warehouse occupancy, on-time delivery and vehicle utilisation together on one screen.

Representative scenario

Warehouse and delivery visibility at a regional distributor

Representative scenario, not a real client project.

Profile
A regional distribution company with two warehouses and its own fleet, delivering daily to retail points.
Problem
Pick lists were prepared on paper and drivers' delivery status was checked by phone. Finding proof for delivery disputes took time, and management only saw an estimated picture at the end of the day.
Approach
  1. Warehouse processes were mapped and a WMS was designed around barcode-driven steps from receiving to shipping.
  2. A mobile app for drivers was built with task lists, delivery photos and signature capture, working offline as well.
  3. Vehicle locations and delivery statuses were connected to the operations team's map screen.
  4. Warehouse and delivery indicators were combined in a management dashboard, and order and invoice flows were integrated with the ERP.
Solutions used
  • Warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Mobile field app
  • Route and delivery tracking
  • Operations dashboard
Outcome
Picking errors decreased, proof of delivery was ready in the system for every shipment and the operations team focused on exceptions instead of calling vehicles.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

When does custom logistics software make sense instead of an off-the-shelf WMS?

Custom software fits better when your warehouse processes are non-standard, when you work with different rules for several customers, or when deep integration with ERP and carrier systems is needed. For standard processes, integrating an off-the-shelf product is also among our options.

Does the mobile field app work without internet?

Yes. Tasks and delivery records are stored on the device and synced with the server once a connection is available, so delivery records are not lost in areas with weak coverage.

Is extra hardware needed for vehicle tracking?

If your vehicles have telematics devices, we can use their data. If not, the driver app's location or retrofitted IoT devices are options. We choose together based on the accuracy needed and the cost.

Can you integrate with carriers and customer systems?

Carrier shipment creation and tracking APIs and your customers' order systems can be integrated, so order, shipping and delivery data flows without being moved by hand.

How does a project start?

With process observation in the warehouse and in the field. We identify the step that costs the most time or produces the most errors, focus the first release on it and add other modules in phases.
