Custom Enterprise Software: Software that fits your business, not off-the-shelf packages.

Instead of bending your processes to fit packaged software, we build software around your processes. We connect your existing systems and bring work that runs on Excel and email together on a single digital platform.

Custom Enterprise Software

In short

Custom software development means building software for a company's own business processes, from scratch or on top of existing systems, instead of adapting an off-the-shelf package. CoreTechs develops business applications such as ERP modules, CRM, warehouse management (WMS), manufacturing execution (MES) and approval workflows around your processes, and builds ERP integrations with systems such as SAP, Logo, Mikro and Netsis. We bring work that runs on spreadsheets and email onto one digital platform and move legacy systems to current technology.

Who is it for?

  • Companies running critical processes on spreadsheets, email threads and manual data entry, and living with the errors and delays that follow.
  • Businesses finding that their off-the-shelf ERP or CRM does not fit how they work, and that customising it has become costly and fragile.
  • Teams whose warehouse, production, sales and accounting systems do not talk to each other, so the same data is keyed in several places.
  • Organisations that want a portal, document management or a learning management system for dealers, suppliers or employees.
  • Companies tied to an old desktop application or an unsupported platform and planning modernisation.
  • Businesses looking for a team to take over software another vendor left unfinished and make it sustainable.

How we work

  1. Free introductory call

In 30 minutes we hear which process is causing problems and which systems are involved, and share feasibility, an indicative timeline and a budget range.

  2. Process analysis and discovery

We map the process step by step with the teams who own it: who handles which data, in what order and with which approvals. Once current systems and integration points are captured in a written analysis, we provide a fixed quote.

  3. Architecture and prototype

We design the data model, permission structure and integration architecture, and validate key screens with a prototype. This is where we settle which system is the source of truth for each type of data.

  4. Modular development in two-week sprints

Starting with the module that delivers the most value, we build in two-week sprints and review each working version with your users.

  5. Data migration, testing and cutover

We clean and migrate existing data and test integrations with real data flows. Cutover is planned so the old and new systems can run side by side for a short period.

  6. Training, support and growth

We train users by role and hand over the source code and documentation. After launch we keep developing the system for new needs under SLA-based support.

How long does it take?

The duration of custom enterprise software depends on the number of processes and modules, the systems to integrate, the volume and quality of data to migrate, the user roles and how quickly decisions are made. That is why we do not give a duration before the scope is clear. You get an indicative timeline in the introductory call and a module-by-module schedule after discovery. On larger projects, putting the most critical module live first lets you see value early. Discovery usually starts within a week.

Phases

  1. Introductory call30 minutes, free. The problem process, systems involved, budget range and an indicative timeline are discussed.
  2. Process analysisAnalysis document, module list, integration map and a fixed quote.
  3. Architecture and prototypeData model, permission structure and a prototype of key screens.
  4. Module developmentTwo-week sprints; modules go live in order of priority.
  5. Cutover and trainingData migration, integration testing, a controlled cutover and role-based training.

What drives the cost?

Unlike off-the-shelf licences, the price of custom software is set by its scope and the systems it connects to, not by the number of users. We share a budget range in the introductory call and a fixed quote after discovery and process analysis. For projects whose scope will evolve, we can also work on a time and materials basis.

Factors that determine the cost
FactorEffect on cost
Number of processes and modulesEach module (inventory, purchasing, production, service, approvals) needs its own analysis, development and testing.
Complexity of business rulesMulti-step approvals, exceptions and rules that vary by branch or role widen the development and test scope.
ERP integration and other connectionsThe number of connections to SAP, Logo, Mikro, Netsis, e-invoicing, e-dispatch and banking services, and whether they are one-way or two-way, weighs heavily on cost.
Data migrationThe volume of data to move from legacy systems or spreadsheets, and how much cleaning it needs, is a separate work item.
User roles and securityDetailed roles and permissions, audit logs, single sign-on (SSO) and data protection (KVKK) requirements add development.
Access channelsA mobile app or handheld terminal support for field or warehouse staff, alongside the web panel, extends the scope.
Hosting and supportOn-premise or cloud hosting, backups and monitoring, and post-launch SLA support add to the total cost.

Example solution scenario

Warehouse management off spreadsheets, with ERP integration

Representative scenario, not a real client project.

Profile
A mid-sized spare parts distributor with two warehouses, running a locally developed ERP package.
Need
Goods receipts, dispatch planning and stock counts were kept in spreadsheets and keyed into the ERP by hand at the end of the day. Because stock was not current during the day, sales could not give customers firm delivery dates, and count discrepancies only surfaced at period end.
Approach
  • A process analysis with warehouse staff and the sales team documented receiving, putaway, picking and dispatch in detail.
  • A web-based warehouse management (WMS) module was built, along with handheld terminal screens with barcode scanning for warehouse staff.
  • ERP integration synced orders, stock and dispatch notes both ways; the e-dispatch note is created at the moment of shipment.
  • During cutover the old spreadsheets were kept in parallel for a short time and then retired completely.
Technologies
  • .NET
  • React
  • SQL Server
  • ERP integration
  • e-Dispatch
  • Docker
Outcome
Stock stays current throughout the day, so sales no longer guess when giving delivery dates. Manual data transfer disappears and count discrepancies become visible without waiting for period end.

Frequently asked questions

How is the price of custom software development determined?

By the number of modules, the complexity of business rules, integrations, data migration volume and user roles. We share a budget range in the introductory call and a fixed quote after process analysis.

Why custom software instead of an off-the-shelf ERP?

For standard processes, an off-the-shelf ERP is often the right choice. If your processes are what sets you apart, or customising the package keeps getting more expensive, keeping the ERP at the core and filling the gaps with custom modules is usually the more balanced route.

Can you integrate with our current ERP system?

Yes. We integrate with ERP systems such as SAP, Logo, Mikro and Netsis through APIs, database services or middleware. We agree in the analysis which data flows in which direction and how often.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the number of modules, integrations and data migration needs. After discovery we provide a module-based schedule and share a working version at the end of every two-week sprint. On larger projects we put the most critical module live first.

Who owns the source code and intellectual property?

Once the project fee is paid in full, the source code and intellectual property rights are transferred to you. We also hand over the analysis and technical documentation, so you can continue development with another team later if you wish.

Will you take over software another vendor left unfinished?

Yes. We first run a technical audit of code quality, security and architecture and report on the current state, then present a plan and quote for continuing.

How is our data kept secure?

A non-disclosure agreement is signed before the project starts. Role-based access, encryption and KVKK-compliant data processing are standard practice, and the software can run on your own on-premise servers if required.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes. During the warranty period, defects are fixed free of charge. After that we offer SLA-based maintenance and support plans with defined response times.
