E-Commerce PlatformsIn short
A custom e-commerce platform is sales software built around your business that brings your web store, mobile app, marketplace listings and physical stores together on a single inventory and order management layer. CoreTechs builds B2C storefronts, B2B dealer portals, marketplace integrations and payment, shipping, e-invoicing and ERP connections on one platform, and keeps developing it after launch. Instead of bending to the limits of an off-the-shelf package, we put your campaign, pricing and operational rules into the software.

Who is it for?

- Manufacturers and wholesalers taking dealer orders with dealer-specific prices, discounts and credit accounts, who need a B2B dealer portal.
- Retailers that want stores, website and mobile app to share the same inventory and customer data.
- Companies planning cross-border sales with a multilingual, multi-currency storefront.
- Start-ups with business models that standard packages do not support well, such as subscriptions, bundles or made-to-order products.
How we work
Free introductory call
In 30 minutes we go through your sales channels, product and order volume and current platform, and share feasibility, an indicative timeline and a budget range.
Discovery and operations analysis
We document your order, stock, returns, pricing and campaign rules, plus marketplace, payment, shipping and ERP integrations, in a scope document. The fixed quote is based on it.
Store experience design
We design listing, product detail, basket and checkout mobile first and get your sign-off with a clickable prototype. On the B2B side, quick order and account screens are designed separately.
Development in two-week sprints
We build the platform and integrations in two-week sprints and share a working version after each one. Integrations are validated in test environments with real data flows first.
Data migration and testing
We migrate product, customer and order data from your current system and test payment, shipping, invoicing and stock scenarios end to end.
Launch and growth support
We go live in a controlled way and train your team on the admin panel. After launch we keep extending the platform with campaign tools and new channels.
How long does it take?
The duration of an e-commerce project depends on the number of sales channels, the marketplace and ERP integrations, the complexity of B2B rules, the volume of product and order data to migrate and how custom the design is. So we do not give a duration before the scope is clear. We share an indicative timeline in the introductory call and a phased schedule after discovery. Discovery usually starts within a week.
Phases
- Introductory call30 minutes, free. Channels, volume, budget range and an indicative timeline are discussed.
- DiscoveryOperational rules, the integration list and the migration plan are documented; the fixed quote is prepared.
- DesignStore and admin screens are prototyped; B2B screens are designed separately.
- Development and integrationTwo-week sprints; marketplace, payment, shipping and ERP connections are brought online step by step.
- Migration, testing and launchData migration, end-to-end order tests, a controlled go-live and team training.
What drives the cost?
The cost of an e-commerce platform depends less on the number of products and more on the scope of your business rules and integrations. We share a budget range in the introductory call and a fixed quote after discovery. These are the main cost drivers.
| Factor | Effect on cost |
|---|---|
| Sales model (B2C, B2B or both) | A B2B dealer portal with dealer pricing, discounts, credit accounts and bulk ordering adds scope on top of a B2C store. |
| Marketplace integrations | Each marketplace means its own product mapping, stock, price and order flow. More channels mean more setup and testing. |
| ERP and accounting connection | Which system holds stock, prices, accounts and invoices, and how often they sync, sets the depth of the integration. |
| Payments, shipping and e-invoicing | The number of payment gateways and carriers, plus e-invoice and e-archive flows, adds integration work. |
| Campaign and pricing rules | The more flexible the rules (tiered discounts, coupons, bundles, customer group pricing), the larger the build. |
| Data migration volume | Cleaning and importing existing products, variants, customers and orders is a separate effort that depends on data quality. |
| Scale and architecture | Resilience for peak campaign traffic and a shared headless back end for web and mobile affect infrastructure and hosting cost. |

Example solution scenario
One inventory for marketplace and dealer sales
Representative scenario, not a real client project.
- Profile
- A mid-sized home textiles brand selling through both retail and a dealer network.
- Need
- The web store, two marketplaces and dealer orders were managed in separate screens. Stock was updated by hand in each channel, so the same item could be sold twice, and dealer orders arrived by email and phone and were keyed into the ERP one by one.
- Approach
- Discovery settled which system is the source of truth for stock, prices and orders; the ERP was made the master for stock and customer accounts.
- A shared headless back end was built for web and mobile, and marketplace integration brought products, stock and orders into one admin panel.
- A B2B dealer portal was added on the same platform, applying dealer-specific prices and discounts and showing account balances.
- Payment, shipping and e-invoicing integrations were validated end to end in test environments before channels were switched over one at a time.
- Technologies
- Next.js
- Node.js
- PostgreSQL
- Redis
- Marketplace APIs
- ERP integration
- Outcome
- The brand runs every channel on one inventory and order flow. Stock mismatches between channels drop, dealer orders reach the ERP without manual entry, and a new marketplace can be added without reworking the platform.
Frequently asked questions
Custom e-commerce platform or an off-the-shelf package?
For a standard store on a single channel, a package can be enough. When you need dealer pricing, several marketplaces, deep ERP integration or custom campaign rules, a custom platform is more flexible and more predictable in cost over time. We will tell you plainly in the introductory call which one fits.
What does the cost of an e-commerce site depend on?
The sales model, marketplace and ERP integrations, payment and shipping connections, campaign rules and migration volume. We share a budget range in the introductory call and a fixed quote after discovery.
Which marketplaces can you integrate with?
We build product, stock, price and order integrations with Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon and other marketplaces that offer an API. The channel list is agreed in discovery and reflected in the quote.
Can a B2B dealer portal run on the same platform?
Yes. Dealer pricing, discounts, credit accounts and bulk ordering can be delivered as a separate dealer portal on the same product and stock data, so B2C and B2B sales are managed from one place.
Will it work with our current ERP and accounting system?
We can sync stock, prices, accounts and invoices with ERP systems such as Logo, Mikro, Netsis and SAP. We decide together in discovery which system is the source of truth for each type of data.
Can our existing product and customer data be migrated?
Yes. We pull products, variants, customers and orders via export or API, clean them and import them into the new platform. Old product URLs are redirected to the new pages to protect search visibility.
Who owns the source code and the platform?
Once the project fee is paid in full, the source code and intellectual property rights are transferred to you. You can keep developing the platform with any team, without a monthly licence fee tying you down.
Do you provide support after launch?
Yes. During the warranty period, defects are fixed free of charge. After that we continue monitoring, updates and new development under SLA-based maintenance and support plans.
